Message for Parents – Morning Drop Off

Dear Knowlton Academy Parents,
As you are aware we have been having some “challenges” with our morning drop off due to the on going construction on Victoria.   Yesterday was particularly challenging ( understatement) with Academy Lane closed much of the day.
Happily we now have 2 GARDA guards hired for morning drop off circulation from 7-8:30 AM until our last day, June 22.  This will ensure everyone’s safety in the mornings. The buses will continue to turn around in  the back parking  lot and then drop off in front of the school. Parents can continue dropping off by the day care door as well.
I would like to thank ETSB for the quick response with hiring the guards, to deal with this major worry.  This morning’s drop off was much smoother and will continue to be until summer break.
Sincerely,
Renalee Gore

Important Message – Follow Up

JUNE 4th 2018

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO CONSTRUCTION/ROAD WORK AROUND THE SCHOOL, WE ARE ASKING THAT YOU EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN DROPPING YOUR CHILD(REN) OFF AT SCHOOL IN THE MORING.  PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION AROUND SCHOOL BUSES SO THAT WE CAN ENSURE THE SAFETY OF STUDENTS AND STAFF!

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Following our message of Friday, June1, although we do have water back at the school, we have been informed that it must be tested before anyone can drink it.

We are therefore continuing to take measures to ensure that there is drinkable water available for students and staff.  To help reduce the number of disposable water bottles we ask that you please continue to send your child(ren) to school with their own refillable water bottle, on Tuesday and Wednesday.

We will keep you informed as soon as we have more information. Please check the school websiteFacebook page, as well as the ETSB Facebook page for updates.

Thank you for your understanding and collaboration in this matter.

Regards,

Renalee Gore, Principal

We are therefore taking measures to ensure that there is drinkable water available for students and staff.  To help reduce the number of disposable water bottles we ask that you please send your child(ren) to school with their own refillable water bottle, on Monday and Tuesday.
